How To Tune Your Old DTH DD Free Dish Set-top Box

Let us see how to tune your old DD Free Dish set-top box. There are a few steps you have to be aware of.

1. Satellite Name

Go to Installation menu/setup menu (using the remote control) - Select Satellite Edit menu-Add New Satellite menu -Choose Satellite Name Edit menu-Input the Satellite Name as GSAT-15- Enter Satellite Longitude as 93.5°E- Select Exit.

2. LNB Configuration for dd free dish setup

Go to LNB configuration and make sure GSAT-15 is the Satellite - Set LNB Types to Universal-Select LNB Power On-Select Exit.

3. DD free dish setting -Transport streams of Transponder (TP) Edit

Go to Transponder (TP) Edit menu -Ensure that the satellite is GSAT-15 – Choose to Add New TP menu- Choose DD free dish frequency -TP frequency as 11,090MHz.- Choose Symbol rate as 29,500Ksps-Choose Polarization as Vertical- Set the 22K to OFF- Set Disc. Equal as OFF- Choose Scan as FTA- Click OK

After configuring all these values, Click OK. Now you will have 16 new TV channels and 6 new Radio channels in your old set-top box.
