The IPL 2023 season will adhere to the customary home-and-away format, with all ten teams competing in seven home and seven away games in the league stage. Following the seventy league matches held across 12 different venues spanning 52 days, the top four teams will progress to the semifinals.



IPL 2023 Start Date

The opening match of the IPL 2023 season will take place on March 31, with the defending champions Gujarat Titans facing off against the four-time champions Chennai Super Kings. According to the official website, the day games will commence at 03:30 PM IST, while evening games will begin at 07:30 PM IST.
